A quarter beef yields around 90 pounds of meat. Roughly half of that will be burger and the other half will be steaks and other specialty cuts of meat.
- How much is in a 1/2?
A half of a beef yields around 180 – 200 pounds of meat. Roughly half of it will be burger and the other half will be steaks and specialty cuts of meat.

- Do I need a deep freezer?
Absolutely. Purchasing a farm raised animal is an investment in your family and the best way to utilize your investment is to have a deep freeze to guarantee optimal freshness and care in storing your beef.
- Where do I pick up my order?
At the Broken Oak we do farm pick up! Once you hit the submit button on the form below we will contact you via email or text about your order. When your beef is ready we will send you a text letting you know when you can pick it up at our farm.
